I’m Akash Atolia, a seasoned banker turned entrepreneur and certified career counsellor for International studies with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry—and now proudly leading a new chapter in the world of global education.


After a successful 15-year career with HSBC, where I last served as Vice President – Sales, Retail Loans, I founded Loan Ustad in 2015 to deliver transparent, customer-first lending advice to individuals and businesses. My approach has always been rooted in trust, service, and long-term value.


As an alumnus of IIM Lucknow, I’ve carried forward the same strategic mindset and people-first ethos into my latest venture—Globegrad, an education consultancy with a mission to empower Indian students with access to high-quality global learning experiences.


Today, I combine my deep understanding of financial ecosystems with the education sector s evolving needs, helping students and families make smarter, better-informed decisions about their academic futures.
